Championship game called off due to coronavirus fears
This weekend’s Championship clash between Dewsbury and Toulouse has been called off due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The French club were due to travel over to Yorkshire this weekend for their match against the Rams at the Tetley’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
But the game will now take place at a later date due to the current situation regarding Covid-19.
A Dewsbury spokesman said: “Dewsbury Rams can announce that our home game against Toulouse has been postponed next Sunday.
“Toulouse have taken the decision to postpone their visit to the Rams until the situation regarding Covid-19 improves to such an extent that travel is considered safe with little risk of either contracting the disease or passing it on to others.
“The game will be rescheduled later on in this season.”
