Championship Preview – Barrow Raiders v Dewsbury Rams

Barrow Raiders forwards Jamie Butler and Jack Spencer could return from wrist and foot injuries respectively.

Coach Darren Holt said: “They’ve not definites, but they’ve a good chance of playing.”

Ryan Hepworth (broken hand) is definitely missing for Dewsbury Rams, while James Craven is awaiting the results of an x-ray on his foot.

But coach Glenn Morrison insisted: “We’ve got good depth and plenty of talent raring to get their chance. This could be their opportunity to show what they’ve got.”

Morrison added: “This will be a tough game for us. It’s our first really long trip, and we’ve got to get ourselves up there in the right frame of mind. We’ve got to switch on.

“We weren’t quite there against Swinton. We’ve highlighted that and we don’t want a repeat.”
