Chase ban reduced to one match

Castleford half-back Rangi Chase has had his initial two match ban reduced to one after he appeared at an RFL Disciplinary Committee Appeal hearing yesterday.

Chase had been handed a two match ban for committing a Grade B punching offence during Castleford’s victory over Bradford Bulls last weekend, however this was reduced to one match by the Panel following an appeal against the severity of the sentence and further submission from the club.
