Chester confident ahead of Wolves clash

Chris Chester believes Wakefield can put an end to Warrington’s recent upturn in form when the teams meet this weekend.

Wolves are unbeaten in four games and can close to within one point of Trinity with a home victory on Saturday, but Chester insists his team can stop their run.

“We played Cas who are top of the league and Wigan who are there or thereabouts, but we’ll go to Warrington without any fear,” he told sportinglife.com.

“They’ve had three wins on the bounce now, they’ve a lot of internationals playing in their team and they’ve got a few guys back so it’s going to be even tougher for us.

“But we’re playing well ourselves and, if we turn up with the same attitude that we showed on Monday, then we can give anybody a run for their money.

“We’ll be disappointed not to come away with a result. We’ve just got to make sure we turn up.”
