Contract extension for Brambani
Sheffield half-back Dominic Brambani has signed a one-year contract extension.
Brambani, 29, is in his second stint with the club having first joined back in 2007.
He said: “I’m over the moon!
“Sheffield is a club close to my heart; I love being here and love what Tubbs (coach Mark Aston) is all about.
“I’ve been back here for three years now, I’m enjoying my rugby and excited for next season.”
Brambani left the Eagles after two years to play in Australia, before returning to the UK with Dewsbury, and then returning to Sheffield where he has won back-to-back Championship Grand Finals.
Eagles head coach Mark Aston said: “I am delighted that Dom has signed a new contract with us.
“He is the ultimate professional and this is characterised by his approach to the game.
“Dom will be the first to training and the first to the field. He is always looking for ways to improve his game.
“We have a lot of young lads coming through the ranks at the club and they would do well to learn from Dom’s example.”
