Crusaders sign Thompson

North Wales Crusaders have announced the signing of prop, Warren Thompson.

Thompson joins from Championship side Rochdale Hornets and will add both strength and experience to the Crusaders’ ranks ahead of their first league home game this Sunday, when they host Doncaster at the Queensway Stadium, Wrexham.

Head Coach Mike Grady told the club’s official website: “Warren is a fantastic player and everyone involved has done well to bring him to the club.

“He already knows a few of the lads here and so I’m sure that it won’t take long for him to settle into the squad.

“He’ll hopefully add some strength in the side and he can’t wait to get going.”
