Dane Chisholm handed three match ban; York’s Robinson to miss Bradford game
Featherstone and York have been dealt suspension blows on the eve of the new season.
Chisholm, 29, will miss Featherstone’s games against Halifax, Bradford and London after being charged with a Grade C dangerous lift in their friendly against Leeds on Friday.
That carries a three match penalty notice, though he is free to play in the Championship opener against Batley this weekend.
Meanwhile, York half-back Connor Robinson has been banned for one match for punching in the friendly against Bradford on Sunday.
The game was cut short after tempers boiled over late on, which saw Robinson and half-back partner Ben Johnston both get sent from the field.
For his actions, Robinson has copped a Grade B charge – and will ironically miss York’s round two game against Bradford.
