Danny Craven missing as Widnes travel to Dewsbury for Monday Night Rugby League
Danny Craven misses out for Widnes as the Vikings travel to Dewsbury for more Monday Night Rugby League.
Danny Craven has been left out of the Widnes squad, with Joe Lyons and Matty Smith named in the halves. Ste Tyrer returns and starts in the centres in place of Joe Edge.
Shane Grady is included as an interchange on his return from injury. Will Tilleke drops out for Simon Finnigan’s side.
Fresh from extending his loan contract with the club, Eribe Doro has been named on the bench.
Widnes remain undefeated so far in their 2022 Championship campaign.
The Vikings opened their campaign with a 34-12 away victory at London Broncos. They scored 70 against Whitehaven at home in round two before defeating Halifax 9-8 at The Shay.
Paul Sykes named for Dewsbury
Paul Sykes has been named in the halves for Dewsbury.
Former Castleford full-back Calum Turner is named at full-back. Jamaica international Ross Peltier has been named on the bench.
Dewsbury currently sit 11th in the Championship table, recording just one win so far in 2022.
They opened their campaign with a 46-16 home defeat to Bradford at the Tetley’s Stadium.
In round two, they fell to York City Knights with a 30-2 score. They would claim their first win in round three with a 12-10 victory over Sheffield Eagles at home.
The tie between Dewsbury and Widnes is the fourth edition of Monday Night Rugby League, live on Premier Sports. The coverage, presented by Emma Jones, begins 7:15.
