Dewsbury win race for Cameron Leeming

Dewsbury have signed centre Cameron Leeming from Keighley.

Leeming, 23, started out at Wakefield and has also played for Hunslet.

He said: “I’m really excited to be joining Dewsbury, I am looking forward to having a good pre-season and putting a shirt on in the friendlies already.

“I had a few other options of different clubs at Championship and League 1 level but the opportunity to play with top level players and work with a good young coaching staff tempted me.

“I know Rikki (Sheriffe) from my time at Keighley and we worked pretty closely when he was there so I spoke to him prior to joining and he really sold it to me. He said I could develop my game to be the best it can be here.”
