Disciplinary update
Five Super League players have been charged with committing disciplinary offences during Super League Round 25 fixtures last weekend.
Widnes’ Hep Cahill has been charged with a Grade C reckless high tackle committed on Warrington full-back Brett Hodgson in the 39th minute of their Super League fixture last Thursday.
Paul McShane of Leeds has been charged with committing a Grade B dangerous lift on Hull KR‘s Travis Burns in the 9th minute of their Super League game on Friday.
London’s Matt Cook and Huddersfield Giants duo Ukuma Ta’ai and David Faiumu have all been charged with Grade A punching offences committed in the 36th minute of their fixture on Saturday.
All five players have until 11.00am today (Tuesday August 20) to submit Early Guilty Pleas in relation to the offences.
The players were charged after the incidents were viewed by the RFL Match Review Panel, who also issued cautions to the following players:
–Willie Isa (Widnes) – dangerous contact in the 69th minute against Warrington.
–Lincoln Withers (Hull KR) – dangerous contact in the 64th minute against Leeds.
