Diskin loaned to Oldham
Castleford Tigers winger Patrick Diskin has signed for Oldham on loan.
The 19-year old trained with Roughyeds last night and is in the squad for Sunday’s Law Cup clash with Rochdale Hornets.
Forwards Ben Davies and Liam Thompson are ruled out with back problems, but Thompson is expected to be ready for the opening league game against Sheffield at home on Sunday, February 5.
One or two other players will be assessed at Oldham training tomorrow before coach Scott Naylor names his 17.
Naylor has confirmed that dual-reg players from Huddersfield Giants will again be available to him if he needs them.
