Dom Crosby and Luke Thompson facing bans
Leeds front-rower Dom Crosby and St Helens ace Luke Thompson are facing short spells on the sidelines.
Crosby received a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B high tackle in Leeds Rhinos’ 48-22 win over Toulouse Olympique on Saturday.
The former Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves front-rower also received a one-match penalty notice for Grade B use of the forearm or elbow. He could potentially sit out of Leeds’ next two games in the Qualifiers.
Thompson is facing a one-match ban for Grade B other contrary behaviour in Saints’ 16-12 loss to Huddersfield Giants.
Elsewhere, Leeds pair Anthony Mullally (raising knees in tackle) and Richie Myler (tripping) have received cautions, as have Halifax duo Shane Grady (kicking out) and Steve Tyrer (dangerous contact).
The match review panel also issued cautions to Toulouse’s Chris Centrone (tripping), Wakefield Trinity’s Pauli Pauli (raising knees in tackle) and Hull KR’s Danny Tickle (dangerous contact).
