Dragons say thanks but no thanks to Sandow

St George Illawarra say they won’t be signing halfback Chris Sandow.

Sandow is on the move after he walked out on Warrington.

The Dragons have been linked to the Aussie playmaker, but they say it won’t be happening.

“(Our recruitment) keeps getting linked with the halfback position and the latest one is Chris Sandow,” St George Illawarra recruitment boss Ian Millward said.

“I can say Chris Sandow won’t be with our club in 2017 and onwards.”

“Look, we’re in a position in the halfback spot where we feel that what we’ve got is the best people available and we’re really happy with them.”
