Drew in Giants exit

Huddersfield veteran Brad Drew has left the Giants, the club has confirmed.

Drew, 35, made nine appearances in 2010 having made a return to the Galpharm Stadium following a two-year spell at Wakefield.

He headed up Huddersfield’s Under 20 side last term, and Giants managing director Richard Thewlis expects him to pursue a coaching job elsewhere.

Thewlis said: “Brad returned home at the end of the season after he had finished with us and won’t be rejoining the Giants for next year. I know one of his long-term goals is to get in to coaching and we wish him the very best of luck for the future.”
