Ellis targets good Hull start

Hull FC skipper Gareth Ellis has made making a good start to 2017 a top target for his team.

The Airlie Birds won their opening two games last season, before losing the next three, along with a significant amount of momentum.

“We’re really keen to get off to a good start next season,” said Ellis, according to his club’s official website.

“It’s something we’re really focused on and it’s something that we’ve spoken about in the opening few weeks of pre-season training.
