England trio ruled out of third New Zealand Test
England trio Sam Tomkins, Sean O’Loughlin and Daryl Clark will miss Sunday’s third and final Test against New Zealand.
The Lions face the Kiwis in the third Test at Elland Road but England coach Wayne Bennett has confirmed that a trio of players have been ruled out.
O’Loughlin has been battling with a calf injury since the first Test win at Hull, while Tomkins and Clark were both injured in the victory at Anfield.
Tomkins suffered a broken hand in the first half of the game but played on for the full game, while Clark was forced to leave the field with a rib injury.
Bennett also confirmed that front-rower George Burgess will not appeal the four-match suspension handed to him by the disciplinary panel.
Bennett will call in Richie Myler, Joe Greenwood and Stefan Ratchford.
