England underdogs for semi-final with the bookies
The bookies have England as underdogs for their World Cup semi-final clash with New Zealand on Saturday.
They are given a six point start on Bet365, with Australia the overwhelming favourites to meet the winner in the final at Old Trafford the following week.
The Kangaroos, who defeated Fiji 34-2 earlier in the tournament, are -38 on the coupon.
England won their last game against the Kiwis, 28-6 in Hull during the 2011 Four Nations, and also won the previous meeting on these shores back in 2009.
They were, however, beaten twice by New Zealand at the 2008 World Cup, losing 36-24 in the group stages in Newcastle, and then 32-22 in the semi-finals at Brisbane.
Bet365 have a great offer on at the moment for new customers so if you are having a punt on the game, register with them today and they’ll match your first deposit with a free bet up to £200, for more free bets and the latest bookmaker offers visit FBK.
Australia are 1/3 favourites to win the World Cup outright, with New Zealand 10/3 and England 10/1.
