Brian McClennan’s Exiles have been installed as odds-on favourites to win the inaugural CarPlan International Origin Match at Headingley Carnegie Stadium tonight (8.00pm) by the RFL’s official betting partner William Hill.

The Exiles, a team drawn from the best overseas players in Engage Super League, are priced at 4/9 to beat England, despite never having played together before. England are quoted at 13/8 with the draw at 18/1.

Wigan Warriors’ Australian winger Pat Richards, the 2010 Engage Super League Man Of Steel, has been named as favourite to score the first try of the game at 8/1 with England and Leeds Rhinos winger Ryan Hall a close second at 9/1.

Exiles centre Matt King and England winger Tom Briscoe are joint third favourites to cross the whitewash first with William Hill pricing both men at 10/1 while Michael Shenton and Sam Tomkins of England have been priced at 12/1 alongside Exiles centre George Carmont as outside favourites to score the game’s first try.

Tickets for the CarPlan International Origin Match are priced from £19 for adults and £12 concessions and can be purchased at the Headingley Carnegie Stadium turnstiles. In addition, tickets are still available at www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk or by contacting the RFL Ticket Office on 0844 856 1113.
