Fans blast late London-Salford fixture change
Fans have blasted the decision to re-arrange this weekend’s clash in The Qualifiers between London Broncos and Salford at five days notice.
The game, which will not be televised, has been brought forward to potentially accommodate a Thursday night TV game involving either side in the final round of the Super 8s.
It was originally due to take place on Sunday, but will now take place on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
The Super 8s fixtures were only announced on August 1, and several dates have already changed since that initial announcement.
Some fans have already contacted the RFL asking for reimbursed ticket and travel fares, but have been told all fixtures are strictly subject to change.

Amidst all the justified furore of changing the London Broncos v Salford game at such short notice, can't imagine London Skolars being too pleased at now having direct competition for their game with Oldham, vital for the visitor's play off hopes #shotinthefoot #rugbyleague

You have just been screwed by the RFL – who care so much about rugby outside of Yorkshire and Lancashire – as the London Broncos match against Salford Red Devils – one of the most important matches in the club’s recent history – has been moved to the same kick-off time as yours!

Absolute joke, many fans follow London rugby league, and now this to deal with, as well as the major inconvenience to Salford’s travelling fans ?
