Fantasy Rugby League 2023: Pick your team now!
Our long running free to play Fantasy Rugby League competition is back for the 2023 season – and you have extra time to get your team ready.
With St Helens in Australia for the World Club Challenge, points will not start being earned in this year’s Fantasy Rugby League until round two of Super League.
We haven’t been able to get the game set up as early in recent years, for reasons that will become clear soon, so hopefully this will give you time to get your team perfected ahead of the second round starting on Thursday February 23.

Fantasy Rugby League – how to play
Our free Fantasy Rugby League competition has been running for 15 years and it’s back again with the familiar format.
We like to keep it simple – your players will earn points for playing and scoring tries. Your two nominated goal kickers will earn points for any successful conversions or penalties, while your captain will earn double points in that game week.
You are able to change your captain and goal kickers each week too.
You have a salary cap of £2.2m to select 13 players and four subs – the four subs are there in case any of your starting 13 don’t play in a given gameweek. Players can have up to two positions they are allowed to be selected in, but you’re only allowed to select a maximum of three players from any one Super League club.
You can move players freely between the starting line up and subs bench throughout the season – and you can make two transfers each week too.
