Featherstone confirm two pre-season friendly dates

Featherstone have confirmed pre-season friendlies against Wakefield and Halifax for January.

Both games will take place at the Big Fellas Stadium, first against the Wildcats on January 12, and Championship rivals Halifax on January 19.

Rovers Operations Manager Darren Payne said: “We are planning a tough pre-season schedule for the first team which will provide a good test for the newly assembled squad. 

“We are hoping that these two games plus a further two to be announced in due course will really whet the appetite for both Featherstone Rovers supporters, visiting supporters and neutrals a like.”

The club also hope to arrange a further two warm-up games, including the Gareth Swift Memorial Cup match.
