Featherstone through to the last eight
Featherstone beat Halifax 24-12 to progress to the Challenge Cup quarter-finals for the first time in two decades.
Ben Heaton’s try gave the visitors the lead, but John Davies and Scott Turner crossed the line to put Rovers in front.
Anthony Thackeray’s drop goal on the stroke of half-time gave the hosts a 13-6 advantage at the break.
Turner added another in the second half, before Ben Johnston gave Halifax renewed hope with a fine solo effort.
Thackeray kicked his second drop goal of the night and Josh Hardcastle’s try seven minutes from time made the game safe for Rovers.
