Featherstone loan Castleford’s Martin

Featherstone Rovers have signed second-rower Charlie Martin on a month’s loan from Castleford.

Martin, 20, has made two appearances for the Tigers including his Super League debut in the away fixture to St Helens on Easter Monday, and will join the Rovers to gain further first team experience. 

Rovers head coach Ryan Sheridan said, “Charlie is a welcome addition to the squad and will provide competition for places.

“Charlie is a talented player and we are looking forward to him making a mark over the next month.

“We have an important period over the next month and I am confident Charlie will be a positive influence on the squad.”
