Featherstone out to “right the wrongs”
Featherstone back Misi Taualapapa says he and his side need to “right the wrongs” of last week’s defeat to London when they face Sheffield on Sunday.
The Eagles, one of Taulapapa’s former clubs, visit the LD Nutrition Stadium looking for their first win of the season.
Rovers had won their opening two games before losing 44-24 at early pacesetters London Broncos.
Taulapapa told the club’s official website: “We are aiming to correct a lot of things this weekend and have been working hard in training in order to do so.
“Our attitude wasn’t right against London and we were all disappointed with the outcome of the game.
“Sunday is going to be tough again. We will need to keep Sheffield at bay and respond in the right way – in order to keep up an unbeaten home record.
“Sheffield will be very dangerous, as well. It is always intense when we play them and I am sure Mark Aston will be getting his boys fired up.
“They have recruited well. There are a lot of new faces teaming with some great players already at the club and we are well aware of what they are likely to bring to the table on Sunday.”
After the home game with Sheffield, Featherstone then travel to Leigh on Sunday week.
They host Toronto Wolfpack on Friday March 30, with games against Swinton (H) and Batley (A) in between.
