Finn joins Castleford

After being released from Featherstone earlier today, Liam Finn has signed for Super League club Castleford.

Finn, 25, has previous experience in the top-flight having played for Wakefield in 2004 and he is fresh from captaining Ireland at the Wold Cup.

“I’m flattered and extremely grateful that a great traditional club like Castleford, has given me the opportunity to play in Super League again,” said the half-back.

“I didn’t take my chance last time and it has been a long road back. I hope to pay that back to the club, and the coaching staff with hard work, and by proving to them, and to myself that I am more than capable of been a quality Super League player for them, and make the most of a second chance playing at the highest level.”
