Head coach Simon Grix on latest signing

Head coach Simon Grix added: “Cole Oakley is coming to the club having come through the system at Warrington progressing to the first team squad.

“That team is a hard one to crack so Cole tried his hand against men for Newcastle this last year and gained some valuable experience in doing so.

“He is a good size, coming to us looking to continue his development and learn his trade. We are really pleased to be able to give him the opportunity.”

Joe Arundel, Cory Aston, Matty Gee, Titus Gwaze, Lachlan Walmsley and Brad Knowles are also among the new faces heading to The Shay in 2022.
