Former Widnes duo join up with Salford
Salford have confirmed that former Widnes pair Tom Gilmore and Oliver Ashall-Bott are training with the club.
Gilmore, 26, was named in the England Knights performance squad in 2018 and left the Vikings at the end of 2019 to join Halifax, while Ashall-Bott left at the same time to join London Broncos.

The pair have both already signed for Ottawa Aces for the 2021 season.
Red Devils coach Ian Watson said: “We’re really low on numbers. We needed some reinforcements and it’s massive credit to London and Halifax for allowing that to happen.
“We got them tested so they could join our bubble and hopefully something can be done before the deadline. We got them on the essential register to start training with us and they’ve been brilliant.
“It gives us a little bit more competition for places and gets them back playing at Super League level where they can show what they’re about. It would be nice for it to happen.
“We named somebody in the squad last week who was never going to play and we’ll probably do the same this week. Having extra bodies will help us at this moment.”
