Former Wigan youngster re-signs with Swinton
Ex-Wigan and academy league champion Sam Grant has signed a new one-year deal with Swinton.
Grant, 21, joined the Lions ahead of the 2020 campaign and made a try-scoring debut in the Challenge Cup against Leigh Miners Rangers.
He said: “I am very pleased to have signed for another year with Swinton and I’m looking forward to getting back in training with the lads and coaching staff to get ready for next year.
“I’m gutted about how my first season at the club ended due to the current situation. I thought we had just started to show what we can do as a team and that we would cause any team problems.
“I now can’t wait to get back out there next year with the lads and I’m hoping to have a big season with the Lions.”
