Four Championship players banned for punching

Four players have been banned for one match after an incident at the end of Batley’s Championship clash with Swinton.

George Flanagan, who was also fined £50, and Ash Lindsay from the Bulldogs and Swinton’s David Mills and Gene Ormsby were all charged with the Grade B offence of punching.

Swinton’s Gavin Bennion submitted an Early Guilty Plea to a Grade A charge, and avoids suspension.
