French Team of the Year for 2017 revealed
Eleven players plying their trade in Super League and the Championship have been named in the French Team of the Year, as chosen by FFR XIII magazine.
Toulouse star Mark Kheirallah is named at full-back, while Catalans Dragons inevitably have four players included – Fouad Yaha, Lucas Albert, Julian Bousquet and Benjamin Garcia.
London Broncos scrum half William Barthau, who will play for Toulouse next season, is included while on the bench is St Helens’ Theo Fages and Warrington’s Catalans-bound back-rower Benjamin Julien.
Six players from the French domestic competition make the starting 13, including former Catalans winger Damien Cardace.
