Funds being raised to support Jordan Cox’s family after tragic loss
A JustGiving page has been set up to support Jordan Cox’s family after the ex-Hull KR prop passed away last week.
The 27-year-old’s death is believed to be non-suspicious and are not related to the current public health situation.
Cox played for Hull KR, Warrington, Sheffield, Doncaster and York during his career.
Dave Petersen, a former team-mate of Cox, said: “This lad was forever the loudest and funniest kid around.
“A pain in the a**e, a nightmare but a great person and good friend to many. His life was rugby and he was a cracking player.
“You will be sadly missed mate. Let’s raise a few quid and celebrate his memory.
“A great player for a few teams in rugby league – and the heart and soul of Hull KR for many years.
“He often thought he was a glamour with a s**t tash so I am calling all of the boys that knew him to grow a tash in May in honour of our good friend Coxy.
“Rest in peace. Our thoughts, prayers, love and hugs go to his family and friends.”
