Oldham have signed Gareth Owen, after the hooker was released by Super League outfit Salford Red Devils.
The 22-year-old will now be part of his hometown club’s squad for 2015.
He joins former Salford team-mates George Tyson and Adam Neal at the Roughyeds.
He has played 36 Super League games in total in his career.
