Garry Lo leaves Castleford
Papua New Guinea international winger Garry Lo has left Castleford after asking to be released from his contract.
Lo, 24, was stood down by the Tigers last month after revealing he was voluntarily assisting the police with an enquiry.
A club statement said: “Today the club received a request from Garry Lo’s representative to be released from his contract with the club to allow him to focus on a personal matter.
“The club has agreed to this. There will be no further comment from the Club.”
Lo made a solitary appearance for the Tigers, scoring a try against Wigan, but had played the majority of this season on loan with Sheffield, where he played in both 2016 and 2017.
