Gavin Marguerite leaves Toulouse

Centre Gavin Marguerite will not be a Toulouse player in 2020, the club has confirmed.

Maguerite, 23, came through the club’s youth ranks and has scored 40 tries in 70 appearances.

Negotiations have broken down over a contract extension, and the France international will move on.

A club spokesperson said: “The entire Toulouse Olympique thank Gavin for all the years he dedicated to the club and wish him good luck for the rest of his career. There will always be welcome to TO.”
