Giants’ preseason sets good base for Stone

Huddersfield Giants have clocked in for preseason this week, and coach Rock Stone is hoping to set a good base for the season to come.

The Giants struggled last season, finishing bottom of the regular season Super League table, and having to play for their survival in the Qualifiers.

“It lays the base for everything you’re going to do for the rest of the year,” Stone said.

“This is going to be a tough one for them. Hopefully we can set some benchmarks and some standards”
