Gold Coast grant Ash Taylor indefinite leave

Gold Coast star Ash Taylor will take a break from the game to deal with personal issues.

The Titans confirmed on Thursday that Taylor had been granted leave until further notice from training and playing matches.

In a statement released by the Titans, it read: “On behalf of Ashley and his family, we ask the media and the public to respect their privacy.

“No further comment will be made at this time by the Titans, Ashley, his management or his family.”

Taylor has made nine appearances for the Titans this season, kicking 10 goals and providing six assists.
