Greg Inglis comeback
Former Warrington centre Greg Inglis is set to make a rugby league comeback in Australia, albeit in the lower grades.
The 34-year-old has signed for Macksville Sea Eagles who play in the Group 2 competition on the New South Wales north coast. Inglis played three games for Warrington in Super League earlier this year before his contract was terminated due to injury.
Leigh to sign international star
Relegated Super League club Leigh are lining up a move for Tonga international half-back Ata Hingano. (Manchester Evening News)
The 24-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract with Salford expired at the end of the season. A deal for Hingano to the Centurions is all but done, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Adam Quinlan new club

The 28-year-old is attracting interest from Leigh who are looking to bolster their squad for their Championship return, according to the Hull Daily Mail.
Pauli Pauli parting message to Salford
Pauli Pauli has sent a heartfelt message to Salford following his move to Championship club York.
He posted: “First and foremost I would like to thank God for the opportunity to still be playing. I would just link to thank Salford Red Devils for the opportunity to have played with them, it has been an awesome ride. To the fans, thank you for all your support throughout the years, we couldn’t have made it without you guys. But keen to begin a journey and grow as a player. Rob Burrow charity football match
More than £2,000 was raised in a charity football match that was held in honour of Rob Burrow. (Yorkshire Evening Post)
The match, played between local clubs The Kews and Yorkshire Athletic, raised £2,366 which will go towards the MND Foundation and the new £5million state of the art MND centre in Leeds.
St Helens receive special congratulations
Super League champions St Helens received a congratulations message from footballing giants FC Barcelona.
In the mail, club president Joan Laporta wrote: “I am writing on behalf of the club’s board of directors and in my own name to express our sincerest congratulations on your men and women team’s winning the 2021 Super Cup with the women team’s historic treble.
“I would also appreciate it if you could pass on our congratulations to players and coaching staff and everyone who played a part in these successes.”
