Hardman signs new Featherstone deal
Featherstone full-back Ian Hardman has signed a new two-year contract extension.
Hardman, 27, has scored 68 tries in five years at the Bigfellas Stadium and is now committed until the end of 2015.
He said: “I’m really enjoying my time at Featherstone Rovers and I am delighted to commit to the club for a further two years. The club is really going places and I am looking forward to hopefully helping the club return to the top flight in due course.”
The former St Helens, Hull KR and Widnes man also works in the community for the club.
Rovers Chief Executive Craig Poskitt said “Ian Hardman is a consistent performer and we are delighted that he will remain at the club for a further two years following this season. We are already actively looking to strengthen our squad for next year and beyond which includes retaining players already at the club. We were keen to retain Ian as he is a great asset not only on the field but also delivering excellent community work off the field and he is a credit to the club.
“Following Daryl’s departure earlier today, we intend to keep any player we wish to retain at the club and will be revealing other contract extensions in due course.”
