Have your say: Where should the Summer Bash be held in 2020?
The Championship Summer Bash enjoyed its fifth year at Bloomfield Road in Blackpool at the weekend, attracting a total of 15,070 fans across the two days.
That figure was short of the record for the event, set in 2017 when 16,444 fans attended, helped by a bumper crowd for the Hull KR and Bradford clash.

After a year absence, Bradford returned this year, bringing sizeable numbers for their defeat against Halifax, while both Widnes and Leigh brought big numbers for their Sunday evening meeting.
As is always the case with this event and Magic Weekend, debate is always generated around possible alternative venues.
On the face of it, Blackpool is perfect. Well located, plenty to do outside the ground, decent facilities, plenty of hotels and within good distance to all of the English clubs involved.
