Have your say: Who is the most unfortunate player to be left out of England’s squad for Denver?
We want to know who you think is the most unfortunate not to have a spot in England’s squad for their mid-season Test against New Zealand in Denver.
England coach Wayne Bennett named his 19-man squad to face New Zealand in Denver on Monday.
He has included uncapped trio Jake Connor, Luke Thompson and Tommy Makinson in the squad.
Luke Gale, Kallum Watkins, Alex Walmsley and Ben Currie have all been ruled out of the Test with injuries.
Meanwhile, Bennett has told England Elite Performance Squad members Scott Taylor, Mike McMeeken, Stevie Ward, Tom Johnstone and Daryl Clark that they will not be going to the United States later this month.
Many people were surprised to see St Helens star Danny Richardson miss out on selection after an impressive season.
Others think Clark is unlucky not to be going, with the Lions opting to take just one hooker in James Roby.
Should Warrington winger Josh Charnley be included? He has scored 16 tries in 12 games for the Wolves this year.
A couple of people got in touch with us on social media stating that Wigan full-back Sam Tomkins should be going, too. Michael Shenton’s name was also mentioned.
