Henderson happy with Broncos progress
London coach Andrew Henderson has described the Broncos 32-8 home win over Batley as one of their best performances of the season.
London downed the Bulldogs at Ealing last weekend and moved up into second place on the ladder.
“I was really pleased with some of the stuff we did with the ball because that’s been an area where we’ve let ourselves down a little bit,” Henderson said.
“We played to the plan, made some really good decisions and asked a lot of questions of the Batley defence.
“Defensively we were pretty strong overall, there was some good scramble at times.”
The Broncos head north this weekend to face Whitehaven.
“We are looking forward to that challenge,” he said.
“I’m hoping it’s going to be a lot drier for both teams because Whitehaven play quite an expansive game as well.
“James Coyle has got them playing really well so I think for both teams we’d like to have a dry track. But if it’s wet and heavy we’ve just got to adapt our game and style of play.”
