Hodgson to miss semi-final

Josh Hodgson has been ruled out of Canberra’s semi-final against Penrith after injuring his ankle.

Hodgson rolled his left ankle when he got tangled up with teammate Aidan Sezer in the second half of the Raiders’ 16-14 qualifying final loss to Cronulla on Saturday.

Canberra were leading the Sharks 12-6 when Hodgson went down, but went on to lose the game.

The defeat means the Raiders now take on the Panthers this weekend.

According to reports, the Englishman is set to miss the final against Penrith but there is hope he’ll be fit in time for the preliminary final, if they beat the Panthers.
