Holgate admits eight crimes

Former Wigan and Workington Town second-rower Stephen Holgate has entered a guilty pleas to eight crimes.

Holgate, who played once for England in 1995, according to reports has admitted multiple breaches of a court order which was meant to stop him contacting his ex-wife.

All were committed in breach of a restraining order which was imposed by magistrates in late 2014.

Holgate is due to be sentenced at the crown court on Tuesday.
