Huddersfield and Wigan clash rescheduled

Josh McAllister

Huddersfield’s postponed Super League fixture with Wigan has been rearranged for Friday July 16 at the John Smiths Stadium, with a 7:45pm kick-off.

The clash, originally scheduled for Round Nine, was the first 2021 Super League fixture to be called off due to a number of positive Covid-19 cases within the Giants camp.

The match was due to be Huddersfield’s first home game with fans this season, and has now been rescheduled for the day before the Challenge Cup final at Wembley.

Ian Watson’s side face Salford tonight in the Super League, while Wigan host Hull KR.
