Hull KR to make five new signings

Hull KR chairman Neil Hudgell has revealed that the club are set to announce four new signings for 2014.

In a statement on the club’s official website, Hudgell also claimed a fifth signing is ‘in the pipeline’.

Hudgell said, “We’ve announced four players up to now (Michael Weyman, Neville Costigan, Kris Keating and Jamie Langley) and have signed another two who are due to be announced shortly.

“On the back of that there are two World Cup players that we’ve agreed terms with and there is one more in the pipeline.

“That means another five new faces coming in, on top of the four we’ve already announced, and whether we bring any more in beyond that will depend on if we’re able to negotiate some movement on a couple of contracted players within the club.

“The emphasis is on quality, not just in terms of ability, but in terms of enhancing the group and building a culture within the club.”
