Hull release eight players
Hull have released eight players following their final game of the season against Bradford.
The eight players – who are all out of contract and won’t be retained – are Dominic Maloney, Tommy Lee, Graeme Horne, Motu Tony, Todd Byrne, Chris Thorman, Josh Cordoba and Jamie Thackray.
Prop forward Paul King has also been given permission to speak to other clubs, despite having 12 months left on his deal at the KC Stadium.
A statement on the club’s website read: “Hull FC would like to thank all the players for their contribution to the club and we wish them all the very best in their future careers.”
Maloney has already signed a two-year deal at Halifax, where he has spent time on loan, while Byrne was told earlier on in the season that he would not be retained, and is set to return Down Under.
Thorman has been linked with a move to Bradford while Cordoba was a short-term signing from Parramatta earlier this season.
