Hull surge into the last eight
Hull FC blasted their way into the Challenge Cup quarter-finals courtesy of a comprehensive 62-0 victory over Catalan on Friday.
Steve Michaels crossed twice in the first half, with Josh Griffin, Mahe Fonua, Liam Watts and Scott Taylor also getting on the scoresheet.
Michaels (above) completed his hat-trick after the break, while tries from Jansin Turgut, Jordan Thompson, Jake Connor and two from Jamie Shaul secured Hull’s place in the last eight.
The result keeps Hull on course to claim back-to-back wins in the Challenge Cup following their victory over Warrington in the 2016 final.
