Idris to return for Titans

Jamal Idris will make his return from injury this weekend when Gold Coast take on the Sydney Roosters.

Idris has been missing for the last three weeks with a hamstring problem but will join the team along with fit-again winger David Mead.

Mead has overcome a broken jaw to make coach John Cartwright’s starting line up but the Titans will be without experienced the injured Greg Bird (ankle) and young hooker Kayne Lawton (hamstring) for the match.

Both suffered injuries in the loss to Canterbury.

Jordan Rankin will replace bird while forward Michael Henderson has been included on an extended five-man interchange bench without Lawton.
