The Indigenous All Stars have romped to an impressive 34-8 win over their World All Stars counterparts in Newcastle.

‌In hot conditions Johnathan Thurston led the side to a solid victory. Jack Bird got the ball rolling for the Indigenous outfit with the first try of the game.

Blake Ferguson finishing off a slick backline move to score the second, before Ash Taylor grabbed the third try. The World All Stars were down 16-0 early, before two quick tries to David Mead and Nene Macdonald made it 16-8.

But it was one-way traffic in the second, Bevan French setting up Thurston for a great team score.

Thurston then kicked straight to Dane Gagai on the chest for another four-pointer.

Leilani Latu finished the match off with a bulldozing try.
