Injury blows for Hull KR
Hull KR will be without Jason Netherton and Stanley Gene for Friday’s visit of Castleford to Craven Park.
Both players picked up injuries during Rovers’ win at Wigan last weekend, which put them top of Super League, albeit for less than 24 hours.
Head Coach Justin Morgan said: “Jason’s got a large gash and I can’t remember how many stitches but there dozens of them in there.
“Stan took a bang to his ankle and he’s going to need some X-rays and he obviously can’t run or anything.”
However, they will welcome back former Leeds centre Chev Walker following shoulder surgery as they look to extend a five game winning streak.
